Each Sunday Principal Lay delivers an important message about happenings within the school, upcoming events, the Positivity Project character trait for the week; the Counselor's Corner (messages from Stough's counseling team) and more. Parents and caregivers of Stough students receive this email weekly.
Check your student's backpack on Fridays for a folder containing classwork, classroom announcements and other important information.
Stough PTA uses Givebacks (formerly Memberhub) to send emails and newsletters about our efforts. Members can opt in to receive these communications as a part of the join process. Sign up to join the PTA HERE! If you wish to subscribe to our mailing list without joining the PTA you can do so HERE!
This year the PTA is partnering with the school to organize a school-wide Room Parent Program! We aim to offer one or more volunteers to serve as a liaison between the teachers and Stough families in each classroom. How can I reach other parents the classroom? Does the teacher need tissues or markers for the class? When is that field trip? What app do you use for the assignment due Friday? Principal Lay is working closely with us and the staff to develop this new program. Email firstname.lastname@example.org (subject: Room Parent) and we'll put you on our "interested in learning more" list!
Stough Mandarin Immersion Magnet Elementary invites you to join us for a tour during the school day. The school has prepared a new family handbook. The purpose of this handbook is to identify and clarify expectations and processes that are specific to our school community. This handbook will be updated as needed, and all updates will be communicated to families via the Principal’s Weekly message.
